Summary
VoiceMog version 1.0 does not require an account and does not include advertising, third-party analytics, tracking, or remote audio processing. We do not collect your recordings, coaching results, or age entry.
Audio and coaching data
When you choose to record, VoiceMog uses your iPhone microphone to create a local audio file. Analysis and processed previews are created on your device. Audio files and structured coaching results are stored locally on your device and are excluded from iCloud backup.
During the practice drill, VoiceMog reads live microphone levels only to animate visual feedback. It does not create a practice recording, transcribe or score the practice, or save anything from it.
VoiceMog may ask for your age to produce the optional Voice Age Beta estimate. That value and estimate remain on your device. Voice Age Beta describes delivery style; it is not biometric age detection and does not determine biological or chronological age.
Microphone and speech recognition permissions
VoiceMog first requests microphone access when you start the initial audit. That permission is also used for live, unsaved practice feedback and later re-tests you choose to record. You can change this permission at any time in the iOS Settings app. VoiceMog may also request Speech Recognition permission to confirm that you read the displayed prompt and to count filler words. This check is configured to run on device; when on-device recognition is unavailable or permission is declined, VoiceMog omits filler scoring and continues with its acoustic analysis. VoiceMog does not request access to your contacts, photos, camera, location, notifications, or advertising identifier in version 1.0.
Purchases
Subscriptions are purchased through Apple's App Store using StoreKit. Apple processes the transaction and may handle information under its own privacy policy. VoiceMog reads the purchase status provided by Apple to determine access. We do not operate an account or payment server for VoiceMog version 1.0.
Retention and deletion
You control local audio retention in VoiceMog Settings. You can keep all audio, keep only the latest audio, or delete an original after its processed preview is created. “Delete All VoiceMog Data” removes local recordings, previews, sessions, and preferences from the device. Deleting the app also removes its local data, subject to normal iOS behavior.
Children
VoiceMog is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app does not transmit user recordings or results to us, we do not receive that content from child users.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app changes. If a future version adds analytics, accounts, cloud processing, or other data collection, we will update this page and the App Store privacy disclosure before that version is released.
