Restore a purchase
- Confirm the iPhone is signed in to the Apple Account used to subscribe.
- Open VoiceMog and tap Restore Purchases on the paywall or in Settings.
- Keep the app open with an internet connection while Apple checks the purchase.
If the subscription is active in iOS Settings but VoiceMog remains locked, restart the app and try Restore Purchases again.
Manage or cancel a subscription
Open iOS Settings, tap your name, then tap Subscriptions and choose VoiceMog. Apple manages charges, cancellation, and refund requests.
Microphone access
Open iOS Settings, choose Privacy & Security, then Microphone, and enable VoiceMog. For the clearest result, record in a quiet room with the phone about an arm's length away. Bluetooth microphones may change recording quality.
Manage app-usage and attribution sharing
In VoiceMog version 1.0.2 and later, app-usage sharing starts off. After your first on-device audit result, VoiceMog presents Apple's tracking choice directly, without a custom pre-prompt. If Apple tracking is denied or restricted, optional analytics and attribution providers remain off, RevenueCat receives no AppsFlyer attribution identifiers, and every feature stays available. If tracking is allowed, VoiceMog activates its approved analytics and attribution services. You may independently enable identifier-free app-usage sharing later in Settings without changing Apple's tracking choice.
To stop future sharing, open VoiceMog Settings and turn off Share app usage. This stops future Mixpanel analytics and AppsFlyer attribution activity from VoiceMog, blocks future RevenueCat-to-AppsFlyer partner sharing, and clears the analytics and attribution state the app controls. Re-enabling sharing does not backfill activity from the period when it was off.
The control does not stop Apple purchase processing or RevenueCat's separate purchase-support mirror, erase records providers already received, or guarantee deletion of immutable RevenueCat device attributes or data in an SDK-managed queue that VoiceMog cannot purge. Use the privacy request route below if you want provider-held records reviewed for deletion.
Manage Apple tracking permission
In iOS Settings, open Privacy & Security, choose Tracking, and review VoiceMog. This Apple setting controls IDFA and user-level cross-company tracking. It is separate from VoiceMog's Share app usage control. Turning sharing off inside VoiceMog stops future VoiceMog analytics and attribution activity even if Apple's permission remains on.
Delete local recordings and results
In VoiceMog, open Settings and choose Delete local VoiceMog data. This removes local recordings, processed previews, saved sessions, and preferences from the device. This cannot be undone. It does not cancel an Apple subscription or, by itself, erase records Apple or a service provider already holds.
For a request concerning pseudonymous Mixpanel, AppsFlyer, or RevenueCat records, email help@8oclock.co before deleting local data so support can explain what device information is needed to locate the records. See the Privacy Policy for the seven disclosed data types, tracking uses, provider retention, and withdrawal details.
Contact support
Email help@8oclock.co and include your iPhone model, iOS version, and a brief description of what happened. Please do not attach private recordings unless support specifically asks and you choose to share one.
